Scar tissue therapy is a gentle and effective technique used to decrease discomfort, fascial adhesions, dark coloring or congestion of scar tissue. During your initial health history, your provider will take a list of any surgeries you have had and make note of any injuries you have had in the past. Scar tissue will be present in areas as minor as ankle sprains or as major as C-section scarring and will have an effect on your movement patterns globally. During this treatment, you may experience sensations including a light tugging or pressure in the area of release work and these effects will last 24 to 48 hours following treatment.
